Let’s face it, the food we eat today isn’t the same food that our grandparents and great grandparents ate. Much of their food came from home and local gardens. In general they were not genetically altered, exposed to pesticides and other chemicals. Much of the soil in which they were grown was rich in natural nutrients. Studies indicate that the nutrients found in agricultural soil are declining. The nutrients that would pass from the soil to the plant and then to the person consuming the plant simply aren’t as plentiful as they used to be. Thus the need to supplement to ensure our bodies are receiving the nutrients they need on a daily basis for optimal health.

At TruVision Health we are excited to introduce our new nutrition supplement line. Using only the finest ingredients and leading edge technology, our nutritional supplements have been engineered to deliver exceptional quality. We offer our Associates and Customers the ability to scale their daily supplement program to fit their health and financial situations.

Our Comprehensive Men’s and Women’s Complete supplement is the foundation of our supplement program along with TruFix. The combinations of vitamins, minerals and herbs in Complete have been carefully formulated to deliver a comprehensive supplement. They are crafted to address a broad spectrum of the body’s nutritional needs. This is offered in a Women’s formula and a Men’s Formula. Each specifically engineered to meet the different needs of men and women. TruVision Health MSM Vitamin

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a form of sulfer which is found in virtually all living plant and animal life. It is an essential element for human life. This somewhat simple compound can have a profound effect on one’s health. It is found in consumable plants such as tomatoes, swiss chard, alfalfa sprouts, apples, raspberries, etc.  It could be considered a basic building block of all life in plants and animals. MSM has been used for over twenty years with many documented and reported benefits.  Essentially our body uses sulfer as a basic compound for repairing damged cells and creating new cells in joints, connective tissue, keratin, skin and hair. It provides free radical fighting benefits, cardiovascular benefits and  assists in normal detoxification. Improved endurance, improved digestive function, improved joint and ligament function, improved skin tone and color, assists the body in maintaining a healthy alkaline state, improved hair and fingernail growth and strength, improved intestinal health, and allergy benefits just to name a very few.

The dilemma is, the naturally occurring msm found in plants begins to dissipate immediately when the plant is harvested. For example the typical tomato purchased at the store has already lost much of it’s useful msm content. Thus the need to supplement MSM. Nutritional MSM is derived in two techniques. One technique utilizes wood byproducts and petroleum (solvents). The other technique does not employ toxic solvents and is much more environmentally sustainable. The TruVision’s MSM is derived using the later technique utilizing the purest and highest quality sources.

TruVision Health Omega3 Vitamin

Omega-3 fatty acids are considered essential fatty acids. They are necessary for human health, but the body can’t make them. You have to get them through food or supplementation. Omega-3 fatty acids are found in fish, such as salmon, tuna, and halibut, other seafoods including algae and krill, some plants, and nut oils. Also known as polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), omega-3 fatty acids play a crucial role in brain function, as well as normal growth and development. They have also become popular because they may reduce the risk of heart disease in terms of addressing high cholesterol, high blood pressure and blood platelet maintenance. The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends eating fish (particularly fatty fish such as mackerel, lake trout, herring, sardines, albacore tuna, and salmon) at least 2 times a week. Research shows that omega-3 fatty acids reduce inflammation and may help lower risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and arthritis. Omega-3 fatty acids are highly concentrated in the brain and appear to be important for cognitive (brain memory and performance) and behavioral function. In fact, infants who do not get enough omega-3 fatty acids from their mothers during pregnancy are at risk for developing vision and nerve problems. Symptoms of omega-3 fatty acid deficiency include fatigue, poor memory, dry skin, heart problems, mood swings or depression, and poor circulation.

It is interesting to note that omega-3 fatty acids help reduce inflammation, and most omega-6 fatty acids tend to promote inflammation. The typical American diet contains 14 to 25 times more omega-6 fatty acids than omega-3 fatty acids, which many nutritionally-oriented physicians consider to be way too high on the omega-6 side. Indeed, studies suggest that higher dietary omega-6 to omega-3 ratios appear to be associated with worsening inflammation over time and a higher risk of death among hemodialysis patients. Thus making it even more important to supplement with Omega-3 to help keep the ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 in a healthy range.

TruVision Health Pycnogenol Vitamin

PYCNOGENOL is one of nature’s most powerful anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidants neutralize free-radicals in the body. Free radical damage has been linked to almost every debilitating and degenerative disease and condition known to man. These include: Alzheimer’s, cancer, M.S., dementia, coronary failure, stroke, and pulmonary disease to name a very view. Free radical damage has also been linked to prostrate dysfunction, menstrual complications, arthritic conditions, immune system dysfunction and more. They are also key components of the aging process in general.

One of the best ways to address and prevent free radical damage is to introduce into the body substances known as anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidants essentially neutralize free radicals. They eliminate the free-radical molecule which prevents it from damaging other cells which in turn prevents the formation of malignant malfunctioning cells. The more potent the anti-oxidant, the better the protection. Years ago it was discovered that a particular species of pine in Southern France contained some of the most powerful antioxidants (also known as proanthocyanidins and bioflavenoids) found in nature. It is also an antioxidant that can pass through the blood-brain barrier. This means it can address free radicals in the brain. Pycnogenol has been used for many years now, with outstanding results. TruVision’s PYCNOGENOL offers outstanding free radical protection and neutralization. It combines imported pycnogenol from the south of France with a potent blend of citrus bioflavonoids making it one of the best anti-oxidants available.

TruVision Health Ubiquinol Vitamin

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) has become one of the most popular and well-researched supplements in the US, and for good reason – it’s used for improved cardiovascular health and energy production by every cell in your body. It is therefore vital for good health, high-energy levels, longevity, and general quality of life. CoQ10 can also help protect your body from free radical damage. What you might not be aware of however, is that there are two forms of CoQ10, and the better, far more effective alternative is its reduced form, called UBIQUINOL. When supplementing with CoQ10, your body converts it to it’s usable form of ubiquinol. If you’re under 25 years old, your body is capable of converting CoQ10 to this usable form fairly. However, if you’re older, your body becomes increasingly challenged to convert the oxidized CoQ10 to ubiquinol. If you’re over 40, it is strongly recommend that you take ubiquinol instead of CoQ10 as it’s far more effectively absorbed by your body. In every study conducted so far, ubiquinol has been shown to be far more bioavailable than the non-reduced form (CoQ10).

May Promotes Healthy Cholesterol Levels – Ubiquinol is a lipid-soluble material biosynthesized in your blood. The carrier is the blood lipid cholesterol. Thus ubiquinol actually keeps your LDL (often referred to as the “bad” cholesterol) reduced.

Heart and Anti-Aging Benefits – Ubiquinol is a critical component for the production of energy in every aerobic cellular system, and if you take that away, you considerably compromise mitochondrial function. This affects more than just your heart. In addition to cardiovascular disease, mitochondrial dysfunction has become increasingly recognized as being directly associated with the aging process itself, including many age-related diseases. Many anti-aging experts believe optimizing your mitochondria is one of the most powerful strategies you can have to extend your life.

But while it can be beneficial for virtually everyone, especially if you’re seeking to combat the natural aging process, it’s absolutely vital for those taking a statin drug. Statin drugs are the family of drugs used to combat high cholesterol. It is estimated that 1 of every 4 Americans over the age of 45 is on a statin type drug such as Lipitor. Statin drugs deplete your body of the primary energy source for your heart, CoQ10. They also diminish the antioxidant protection for the various lipids in your blood required for normal metabolism. So while one of statins’ claims to fame is to ward off heart disease, you’re actually increasing your risk when you deplete your body of CoQ10. Hence, if you’re on a statin, you really should take supplemental CoQ10 – ideally in the form of ubiquinol – to counteract the damage being inflicted by the drug itself.
